Afterwards we came back here with Hollis's family and they played for a bit longer. As is the norm with Rosie the whole gift routine went right over her head and after opening one she left the room and headed for the comfort of her old familiar toys. We did end up opening them all and she was really excited with her new bounty and most disgruntled when she had to say good bye to them for the day.
Today marks the end of what seems to have been a week of birthday celebrations for her and she really loved the attention which if you know Rosie, this is a milestone.
Thank you to everyone for all the good wishes, cards and gifts, we saved everything for today in hopes of not making her believe that her birthday really does last for a week!

You are one awesome mum! We also hate Chuck E Cheese & thank G-d Erin does also. As for Dora, Erin's never seen it. I'm not starting now that's for sure.

Oh, how cute the girls are and what a fun week for Rosie! Gosh, you must think I am WAY out of my mind for wanting to throw a big bash for Ruby! I can hardly contain my excitement! Been waiting 3 years for this...at least! Ruby is into Dora now, too. We don't mind it too much (yet) but the Wonder Pets is really getting old. :-) Haven't been to Chucky Cheese yet. Ruby's not a fan of pizza. Anyway, you do what you gotta do to keep the little ones smiling and it sounds like you had a real good smiling week with Rosie!
It was just a WONDERFUL time celebrating with you all as Rosie turns 3. She is such a young lady and we love ALL of you so much!
It looks like your little one had a fantastic birthday party! Believe it or not... I've never been to C. Cheese as of yet. From what I've heard, it's not the most exciting place for the parents. Dora is a whole other story. That annoying show is on at my house way too often if you ask me.
So glad her day was filled with fun and happiness.
Dawn, you and I must be long lost sisters. We threw a Eriks a birthday party at Chucky's in Dec 2008. Never freakin' again! The staff were the most unfriendly people in the world and made us miserable.
Don't do Dora either. I guess what broke the camels back for us was a hilarious Saturday Night Live cartoon skit several years back where they did a spoof of Dora with the character's name being Maraka. See if you can find it on youtube. You will never look at Dora the same way!
