Dropping Like Flies

The members of this household are dropping like flies. Yesterday was my turn. I didn't get the bug just an enormous migraine that came out of left field just as I had started a therapy session with a client. I couldn't stop to take meds so I figured I would be OK to wait it out. That plan didn't work and by the time I got to the next client I looked at him and said, I'll see you next week! Thank heavens my people have been with me for years. (many of you have asked what I do that I only work for an hour a day. I am a licensed massage therapist that does deep tissue rehab work. Not the kind of massage that makes you feel good but the kind of therapy that makes you feel good later and keeps you moving. My clients don't say ahhhh its more like ARGHHHH.I used to work for a DR and also in the local hospital before Lily arrived but now I only take private clients. The state of Florida requires us to call them patients but I am a rebel!)

Anyhoo, before we all went down hill, cos Jakey was a tad off colour yesterday too, we had a great start to the weekend and here are the photos.

GRANDPA....I caught a fish (it looks like it's taking a nap but mummy says it's gone to sleep forever. I'm not sure what she means but it couldnt swim very well when I put it back in the ocean!!!!)

I was worried about you guys, if it wasn't so late I was gonna call to make sure you were okay (it's not like you not to post, and that last one...well I was worried that's all)...

sorry you all are passing it around, hopefully you passed it on to your clients (hehe....)

Oh man - that sucks that you are/were all ill. I hope everyone is back to normal soon!

However, before the sickness, the pictures were great!

I'm sorry that you are feeling bad! I'm hoping that we are seeing the last of the winter flu bugs.

oh, that stinks! People who don't get migraines have no idea the pain they cause. I haven't had one in over a year, and now I am starting to get them again (of course, I went off my meds a year ago when they stopped)
Great photos, you live in paradise!

Migraines are horrible. I luckily don't get them, but I sister does. She looses peripheral vision when she is having one.

Love the pictures!

Oh Dawn, I'm sorry to hear you have all been down for the count.
Hope you are on the mend!

However, the pictures were gorgeous! I especially love the black and white of Lily in the water in front of that cool tree!

UGH I hate migraines! I started getting them when I was about 18 and they were really bad until my mid 20's (when I was told I HAD to cut out the caffeine) and now I get them every so often. But when you're a SAHM to a 3 year old, it's very hard to get any peace & quiet when you're head is pounding!!

What a great job being a massage therapist! I'm happy being on the receiving end and don't have it done often enough! Too bad you're so far away!
