Field Trip

Today was Lily's first ever field trip and she even got to ride on one of those enormous yellow school buses....and so did I.We don't have them in England and I always thought they were the things of movies until I moved here and actually saw one. We went to see Mr Al who is a childrens performer and he is excellent and I highly recommend him if you ever get the chance to see him. I think that they were as excited about the bus as they were about Mr Al. We left the school bright and early and then had a picnic lunch as soon as we arrived at the auditorium and then it was showtime. All the kiddos were up and dancing around and singing. It was a wonderful day out for all of them and we parents had a great time too. I am so glad that her phenomenal teacher didn't just do the standard trip to the zoo.

I had a friend from Australia who thought the yellow school buses were just made up for tv too until they came here and were just amazed that they were 'real'.

How great that you are able to go on field trips too!!

Great pictures.

What a cool fieldtrip. I got taken to Pumkin World, The Zoo, and some apple-picking place when I was little. (I'm sure there's more that I just cant remember) Now that I'm older we go to the movies, roller-skating, and ice-skating. Oh, and can you PLEASE send some sunshine our way!?
