2 days in one

Yesterday we woke up really really late. The girls have never slept until 11 before but they did! Jet lag whipped them very hard. They didn't miss too much as it was a rainy 54 degrees so being snuggled in bed was the best place to be. We were really rather lazy for the remainder of the day and played games with Grandpa, went out and bought a few warmer clothes, and generally stayed close to home and counted down the hours until today when Hollis and family arrived.

Today the girls also slept until 10 but once they got up they burst with excitement when they realised that Uncle Stephen was on his way from the Port with Hollis and the girls. Having them here is fabulous, brilliant in fact. We don't have any huge plans we just want to spend some quiet time with my family in this lovely little town sharing all the special things we do with our most special friends.
Hollis and I went grocery shopping and she marvelled at the town, we left the girls with Grandma and Jacob. Once we returned a couple of hours later the girls were still playing out in the garden just as they were when we left. We just can't wait for the next few days to unfold.

All the girls playing in the garden. They are just so happy to be together and I love the fact that they are here.

I was lazy with the camera for the past 2 days but that will change now.
