Since she makes this award for every grading period we always make sure one of us can go and this time I had to work so Jacob went alone. He took the photos and came home and told me he doesn't like my camera. (Hellooooo, it's MY camera you have 3 of your own so why did you take it to begin with?) He said the photos are awful....he's right but that is because he doesn't know how to use it.
Looking proud

I will leave you with her school photo for the year. Not her best but it depicts her perfectly. Her hair looks like she just got pulled through a hedge backwards. Why don't teachers remind the children to comb their hair before heading off to get their photos done. I always remind her but this year.....sorry Mummy I forgot to brush my hair! Lily's school doesn't require uniform on picture day. This year we were fully aware when picture day was but that morning she got dressed in her uniform and it wasn't until we were in the drop off lane that i noticed most of the kids in street clothes. I casually asked her why the kids weren't in uniform and then it clicked. We both said together, PICTURE DAY!. I asked her what she wanted to do and she said go home and get changed.
I hauled boogy out of the drop off lane, drove the mandatory 15mph through the school zone and then hammered it home. I had her get partially undressed in the car and then we shot into the house and she chose an outfit. No sooner were we in the house, we were back out again and flying at the speed of light back to school. Need I add that we were laughing the whole time. We flew through the streets and then hit the dreaded school zone. Not sure how she did it but she made it before the tardy bell rang....phew. That could also be why the hair looks a little ver-klempt.
