One Last Fling

We are in Massachusetts enjoying a short but oh so sweet get away before school starts and all fun is ordered to cease and desist. We arrived very early in the morning on Thursday and started our adventure standing at the luggage carousel at Logan Airport waiting for our luggage. Since Hubs works for the airlines we fly stand by which means our bags are always the some of the last to get loaded on to the plane. Last bags on equals first bags off. After about 15 minutes we knew something was not quite right. Oh well it isn't the first time and it seems to only happen when we fly to Boston. They were delivered to our hotel at some point during the night but the fabulous hotel staff didn't want to wake us so they held them until yesterday morning for us. (wow, people with brains, I LOVE that.)

As soon as we were in our rental car, which the company kindly upgraded for us to some enormous Caddy, Lily started chanting, 'Kelly's'. This is her favourite restaurant up here for Clam chowder, it also happens to be Jacobs favourite restaurant for roast beef sandwich, so that is where we headed. I seriously couldn't have lasted many minutes with that much chanting especially since they were both at it.

After lunch we checked into our hotel and then headed out to meet up with some of Jacob's friends from Elementary School and walk on Red Rock. The kids loved the rock climbing, clammering. Later on we filled Rosie with glee when we announced we were heading over to see Rob, Gloria, Livie and Domenic. Rosie and Lily love these guys and were thrilled to be seeing them again so soon, as were we. Oh my word, I nearly forgot the trip to Woodmans so Jacob could eat his beloved steamers, Lily prefers lobsters.

Again
Gary and jacob, friends since they were little boys. How sweet is that?

Yum...nothing else, just yum. But I like mine to be prepared for me and Jacob does that.

Lobsters. Clams. I'm not picky. You can bring back either for me. I'll just say "Thanks!" ;-)

Enjoy your last fling!

Beautiful pictures! Just love 'em! Can't comment much on the lobster cause I'm allergic, but I bet they were good!
