When I grew up I was never allowed to go to the circus. My dad said they were run by gypsies and I just wasn't allowed to go. (He does sound like a snob,I agree) I was somewhat of a goody two shoes and so I never went. I knew when they came to town and heard all the comments that my dad made about the people but I wasn't even allowed to ride my bike to the park to see the tent so I never actually saw them.
Yesterday we took Lily to the "Greatest Show On Earth, Ringling Bros & Barnum and Bailey Circus" and I have to tell my dad something. "Daddy, there wasn't a gypsie to be seen, it was incredible and I had a wonderful time. Oh and Lily enjoyed it too!" Jacob set everything up and we got there early so that we, I mean Lily, could meet all of the characters and the animals before the show began. Then it was showtime and it was fantastic. Lily had a wonderful time she was mesmorized and I was very impressed too.

How fun! I've always wanted to attend a circus but never got to go! I guess I'll just have to wait to see it if we ever take my little brothers and sissters! :)
How fun for you....and Emmie must not remember, but she went to the same circus when she was 2. I think I'll remind her tonight! lol The clown noses were a great touch!
