Days like this shouldn't end.

Today we had planned to head into the Grove, have some lunch and then spend the rest of the day just wandering about. My friend Jakie and one of her daughters joined us and we had an absolutely fabulous time. Even the weather couldn't have been more perfect. The low 70's with beautiful blue skies.
We had lunch at an old dive known only to the locals, Scotty's Landing. It's a favourite of ours and the girls love that they can sit outside on the water and eat in such a perfect setting. The place was slammed with boaters, business men, and families but once you enter Scotty's you are all the same.
Unfortunately, I forgot my camera and my sister didn't bring her computer wires so we are stuck with the shots from my phone.

After lunch Lily found a hat that she fancied.

We headed to a park a little later on and the girls let off some steam. So did crazy Auntie Sally but due to my lack of camera I missed most of her high jinx.
Sitting under here for the afternoon with my sis, my girls and my BFF wasn't to hard!


Rosie was doing much better all day long but once the sun went down her fever came back. Tomorrow she is housebound so that we can get rid of it.
