Today is pajama day at the girls school. Pre-K through 4th grade are allowed to wear the jammies if they pay $1. I wasn't sure if either one would want to do it, Lily is getting bigger and this stuff is now sometimes referred to as "childish and immature" and Rosie, well we all know how Rosie loves change in her routine. Last night they picked out their jammies and this morning they both woke up early and we filled to the brim with excitement.
As we walked towards the school it appeared that Lily might be the only kidlet in the 4th grade wearing her p.j.'s and the look of dread on her face was quite hilarious but luckily for her we spotted 2 other classmates wearing theirs. Lily is dropped off first and then I walk Rose into her classroom. As Lily walked away, quite happily I might add, I expected Rosie's demeanour to take a nose dive. Hah, I was wrong. She virtually dragged me to her classroom as she was walking so fast. And, for the first time ever she didn't have a full blown attack of nerves at the idea of a party in her classroom and a disruption in her normal routine. Don't like to count my chickens before they hatch but this could mean the starting stages of moving forward.
Silly girls. And yes, Rosie does take all that clobber with her, but only in the car. It stays there until I pick her up with the exception of her blanket which is hidden in her backpack. We are working towards leaving it in the car also. She only started hiding it her book bag one week ago up until then it was stuffed under her arm. LOL (baby steps)
Apparently it is fine wearing P.J.'s to school but not being photographed wearing whilst walking into school. This is Lily diving and jumping out of camera range. Hah, I won.
Rosie looking HAPPY
Not sure I like this new interface from blogger it separates the script and mixes it all up with the pictures.

Cute PJ kiddos! Theme days are such fun at school and it's great that both your girls wanted to participate!
Have you looked into Windows Live Writer? I started using it over a year ago and never looked back. It's AMAZING...and free!
(Windows Live Writer is a program you can use to create posts and then in turn it posts them to your blog. Entering pics is as easy as drag and drop.)
Love the pj's! So happy to hear Rosie is making steps.....she really looks happy in the pics!
The pj's are adorable, but your girls are even more so. As much as I do not like PJ days at school, I think your girls rocked it!
Oh, how cute is Rosie with all her "stuff". So sweet how she is learning to let go of some of it and leave in the car. Both girls are just adorable in their PJ's!
