The birthday girl. Her shirt says, "6 Rocks" but I think it should say "I Rock 6" cos quite frankly she does!
Lily was thrilled to see Erin and I would not be telling the truth if I didn't admit to being happy to see her Mama, Tammie.
Rosie, Lily and Erin conspiring on some plot in the bounce house.
They played some games, jumped in the bounce house until they were so sweaty and hot, ate cake, ate pizza and were the subjects of numerous camera lenses. This Mama is in town visiting this Mama and they came to the party with their gorgeous children. It was such a pleasure to meet Gail and her beautiful daughter. The out of town guests were suffering from our heat so I merely suggested that they go over to the spritzer fountain to cool off. Is it really my fault they took full fledged showers in it? LOL They were all smiles afterwards and full of life again.
What's a party without the birthday song?
Katie gave all her gifts a goody bag containing, a little spade, a bag of dirt, a pretty pot and some seeds. As we were leaving I decided to stop at 1kea to see if they had any other pots as the bag of seeds was enough to plant a full garden. This is what happened in 1kea.
They decided the pots/baskets made perfect Chinese hats to work in the paddy fields with.
Lily looks hilarious. She actually looks Chinese and she never does at least not to me, she's just Lily to us.With a bag of dirt, some seeds and a couple of big pots we got to work this morning making our "Visions Of Katie Starr" planters. The girls loved being elbow deep in dirt and water.
Getting very in to it.
Following this peaceful morning we decided to go for a bike ride.
What is with that face, Kidlet?
Lily riding her sisters scooter through a puddleYou knew this would be the next shot right?
And yes, they got soaked, really drenched in fact so we came home and took a very early shower.
On the way home we had to stop and wait for this family to cross the road.
At the party yesterday most of the mum's are professional photographers. I have been debating buying a DSLR but having been asked to take photos of the ladies yesterday with their cameras i think I am going to stick with my point and shoot. I take loads of photos and if I have to lug that very heavy camera about with me I just know I am going to opt to leave it at home. Although even I took nice pictures yesterday with the fancy schmancy ones.

I love the new haircut....it's seldom we get to see pics of you!!
I know! It's lovely how Lily & Erin get along. We really should try to get them together at some point. It's such fun when they're together. Erin always asks if Lily & Rosie will be at a party if Lori is involved. I'm thinking it's like Pavlov. Lori has a party which means you guys must be coming up. Too funny!
Erin chose to plant her seeds Saturday night. She loves to garden & didn't want to wait.
Great shots. It's wonderful to see how well the girls are doing. Love the b&W ones too! Great job...even with a point and shoot! :-)
So happy to have met you last week!
Love seeing your pictures, I'm following your blog now so will stop by frequently, Dawn!
