Both of the girls were so tired today due to the fact that we went to see Peter P*n at the theatre last night and we didn't get home until after 10. Lily was so tired, in fact, that she begged not to go riding today. That shocked me. Jacob called me at work and told me and I just said call her instructor and tell her she won't be going. Normally she would have to go as this is a commitment, not just on her behalf but the riding establishments also and we don't shirk commitment but she has the dreaded FCAT next week and is a little worried about them so I decided that rest was better than getting her even more exhausted.
When I went into overdrive this afternoon the girls asked if they could paint. I said yes and threw caution to the wind with wild abandon. Rosie wanted to paint her feet and tread on some paper and Lily just wanted to paint. I set them up with paints and paper, brushes, water etc and carried on.
Each time I turned around things had got more and more messy. There was paint everywhere and as they painted their feet they decided to wash them off in a huge bucket. Normally I would frantically be cleaning up every little spot of paint and drop of water but they were having so much fun that I just left them to their own devices. They loved it.

Aha, so that is where they put their shorts whilst acting on their Picass0 tendencies.

Oh goody they are both doing it.
I have no idea when they removed their shorts but apparently it was necessary.

As for the girls...both out cold by 8pm. Rose was fast asleep by 7.05! As for me, well I have a floor to scrub and a table to clean and a few cabinets that need to have the paint removed from them. (wink)
