Ch, Ch, Ch, Changes!

Today was a big day, we received this email from Thesaurus.com

Dear Dawn,

I have great news! The changes we mentioned in our last email are in place.

Your concern helped draw our attention to something that needed further
clarification. Our mission is to provide the most accurate information
regarding language, and we are pleased with the added clarity.

Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any additional
questions.

Kind Regards,

Evelyn

The changes are for the better, they still use the word "stray" which neither Lily nor I care for but compared to, Hobo, bum, street person and all the derogatory terms they had before, we will take it. Nowhere on the page does it have anything unkind and or hurtful. Lily replied to the email herself and told them exactly what she thought of the changes.

Here it is:
Main Entry:orphan
Part of Speech:noun
Definition:historical/literary child without parents
Synonyms:foundling, stray
Main Entry:ward
Part of Speech:noun
Definition:custody; person in one's custody
Synonyms:adopted child, care, charge, child, client, dependent, foster child, godchild, guardianship, keeping, minor, orphan , pensioner, protection, protégé, protégée, pupil, safekeeping, trust

Wow! That's a major accomplishment. Now there's proof that one person can start a movement to make change in the world. Tell Lily how proud we are of her for doing that. And for being strong and powerful and making her voice be heard.
