I have no time because there are so many things going on at the moment. We went to see Annie last Sunday and it was fabulous. I had no idea what it was about and of course loved it when I found out if was about adoption. Lily gave the cast a standing ovation. She has been singing , "Tomorrow" ever since. She even had a fancy new skirt to wear courtesy of Nannis.
Our Christmas tree is up! I mean it is still up and has not yet been demolished by the 2 ft Chinese dictator. When we were in Beijing and Guangzhou in February we purchased some ornaments for it and I had completely forgotten and was so surprised when I discovered them. When you come home after 2 days of travelling and unpack that same night you tend to forget a few things.
This is my favourite ornament. It came form "A Gift From China"

This is our little Panda that we purchased in Beijing from the factory. It still has the price on and I refuse to remove it as it is in Yuan and completes the wonderful memory that it holds for us.

We took the girls to see Santa. We went with Hollis and her girls to have lunch with the chubby guy. We pretty much knew that Rosie would shriek like a banshee and run a mile but she didn't. She didn't smile either but she sat in his lap and looked uncomfortable. All the other girls had gone before her so she wanted to do it even though she didn't...if that makes sense. Lily looked a little sheepish as well since she has been doing alot of talking in school again lately and we have told that SC will not come if she isn't good. When Santa asked if she had been nice she sort of panicked! Too funny.

Rosie thinks this Santa is a much better idea. Not so big and he even looks like her.

This week is also shaping up to be very busy. CF returns from China, we have a Bat Mitvah on Saturday, we are going to court to adopt Rosie, Lily has her school holiday show and somehow I have to finish my shopping??? Oh and lets not forget the wrapping.
I will try to post more frequently as long as the time bandit stops stealing my time.

2 ft Chinese dictator, huh? I love how you describe that sweet thing we all know as Rosie!
You have definitely been a busy little beaver of late. This is a crazy time of year no matter what you celebrate.
Your ornaments are beautiful. I love the panda. In fact, like you I would have kept the price tag on - for exactly the same reason.
What, you are not sitting by the pool sipping warm tropical drinks?!
Have a great busy week and hope you find time to catch your breath and take a photo!
By the way, I love the price tag on the Panda ornament.
