Isn't anybody else sleepy?

It will come as no surprise to anyone that we were up most of the night again but this morning "Evil Mama" got everybody up bright and early and we headed outside to show the 2 little offenders what daylight looks like. We spent most of our day outside just so that "they" would get the point. I allowed Rose one very short nap and forced Lily to stay busy so that she didn't notice how tired she was. This afternoon we strapped Rose into the bike seat and all went out for a ride. She is still a bit to little for it and some duct tape would have come in handy but she loved it! ( I'm kidding people I would never use duct tape...super glue maybe!) We rode to a nearby park and promptly put her in a swing. The child went wild. She loved it. The videos aren't so good cos we had to face Rose away from the sun so Jacob was filming directly into it so they are dark.

One of my clients whom I love dearly bought the girls matching outfits and Lily wanted to wear them today. Since I have had 11 hours sleep, total, since Thursday ( yes, jakey and I counted them today), who was I to argue! They looked so flipping cute. They have matching hats but Rose kept losing hers and Lily wouldn't wear hers alone cos she wanted to be the same.

In China Rose ate everything and anything but now she refuses most everything. I even bought some of the same jars home to be sure she had something familiar. At Lucy's she would eat mashed potatoes by the bucket load but here she won't touch them. She will however eat any rice crackers or Gerber finger foods so this evening after attempting 3 different things ( something I have never had to do with Lily and don't plan on doing with Rose ) I dumped the food directly onto her highchair tray and she ate it all, all be herself. Can you say, quirky?

I started this post 3 hours ago but Rose has been waking up and screaming. She is crying as if something hurts and as soon as she falls asleep she bolts right awake again. It is so distressing to see and we cannot figure out what is wrong so I just gave her tylenol, just a tiny bit, less than the dose and we will see if it helps. Both girls see the DR on Friday but I think I am going to take them both tomorrow instead if it is possible. On a bright note she is really sleepy and it is only 11.56 pm and she has been asleep on and off since 8, Lily too. So if we can figure out why the little peanut is crying perhaps she will be able to sleep peacefully until the a.m. (bite my tongue, Kine hora, salt over my shoulder, touch wood and my all time favourite that Lori's Uncle Howard has me saying all the time, make a donation to the Rabbi!)

Off to see if Jacob has soothed our little baby girl....this is so sad.
