One of my clients whom I love dearly bought the girls matching outfits and Lily wanted to wear them today. Since I have had 11 hours sleep, total, since Thursday ( yes, jakey and I counted them today), who was I to argue! They looked so flipping cute. They have matching hats but Rose kept losing hers and Lily wouldn't wear hers alone cos she wanted to be the same.

In China Rose ate everything and anything but now she refuses most everything. I even bought some of the same jars home to be sure she had something familiar. At Lucy's she would eat mashed potatoes by the bucket load but here she won't touch them. She will however eat any rice crackers or Gerber finger foods so this evening after attempting 3 different things ( something I have never had to do with Lily and don't plan on doing with Rose ) I dumped the food directly onto her highchair tray and she ate it all, all be herself. Can you say, quirky?
I started this post 3 hours ago but Rose has been waking up and screaming. She is crying as if something hurts and as soon as she falls asleep she bolts right awake again. It is so distressing to see and we cannot figure out what is wrong so I just gave her tylenol, just a tiny bit, less than the dose and we will see if it helps. Both girls see the DR on Friday but I think I am going to take them both tomorrow instead if it is possible. On a bright note she is really sleepy and it is only 11.56 pm and she has been asleep on and off since 8, Lily too. So if we can figure out why the little peanut is crying perhaps she will be able to sleep peacefully until the a.m. (bite my tongue, Kine hora, salt over my shoulder, touch wood and my all time favourite that Lori's Uncle Howard has me saying all the time, make a donation to the Rabbi!)
Off to see if Jacob has soothed our little baby girl....this is so sad.

How wonderful to hear Rosie giggling in the swing! Love the outfits.
Hope you get a bit more sleep and that Rosie is ok...
Send some of the Florida weather this way!
Hope Rosie sleeps through the night soon. Love the matching outfits!
I love the matching outfits!
Hope Rosie finally settled down and had a good night. My kiddo tends to be VERY restless in his sleep when he's overtired... maybe poor Rose is just exhausted.
Can't wait for today's post :)
Family fun! I love their matching outfits and beautiful smiles and laughs.
Hope Miss Rose slept better, ate more and all around good stuff.
Keep smilin!
OMgosh.. could Rose be any sweeter?!! Love those matching outfits the girls have on. I hope last night went a little better after the tylenol.
Looking forward to more fun pictures and videos!
Oh my goodness...I wanted to scoop Rosie up out of that swing & give her a great big HUG!!! She is SOOOOO CUTE!!!! What a smile!!
Sounds like you are doing all the right things to beat that jet lag!! Hopefully, you'll be back to normal very soon!
HUGS!!
The outing to the park looked like so much fun. You actually can wear capris and sunglasses...I wish I were there.
I hope you get the girls into the doctor today. Will check back later to see if there is any new news.
Oh I so remember those first few days home and I wish that I could forget them...OY!! Ethan had terrible night terrors and fell asleep standing up until he fell back. We tried to take him in with us but he wanted no part of it. Now he is the sleeper extraordinaire(sp?) He has no issues with it and actually is a bit better sleeper than the Starr who is not too bad herself. It WILL resolve itself soon and it will all be behind you in no time...bite bite, knock, knock...right Uncle Howard?
I had a kid like that....I just dumped it on the tray and that was the only way she would eat. little turkey.
Rosie is doing marvelously! I love hearing her giggles on the swing & the slide. And don't those girls of yours look awesomely adorable n their matching outfits!?
firstly...I am so jealous that you can go to the park! It's far too cold still here!
secondly...Rosie is so freaking cute! and I love the girls in their matching outfits!
Hope you get more sleep!
Love the pics and video from the park! The swing was Lily's favorite thing in the world too for the first year!
Glad to see you are takin' control of the sleep issue...hope it works.
And, OF COURSE, I hope that sweet Rosie finds comfort in you...those sad tears are just heart breaking.
Keep us posted. Sending up prayers for you all!
XO
Does she have gas? My boys did and were really helped by gas drops.
She is so cute. It is wonderful to see her home.
