Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety Jig.

We are home. The flights were a breeze. Both girls slept nearly the whole time. Rosie had a bassinette and Lily layed all over Jacob and I. Once we arrived in Chicago the fun and games began because our flight was delayed a few times due to weather. Just as we were about to throw in the towel and get a room for the night we were told we could leave so we finally walked through our door at 3.55am. We stayed up until 7am and then went to bed until noon. Needless to say not much has gone on here today. We did take Rosie for a stroll around the neighbourhood so that Lily could push her but that was enough excitement for one day.

It feels so good to be home. Our bed is like heaven even with the 4 of us in it last night. Rose had a nap this afternoon in her crib and suddenly fell asleep at the beginning of dinner and is in her crib again. We are hoping she will go right through until tomorrow but we know that is a big wish. LOL

Whilst in Chicago Lily and Jacob had a snowball fight. We circumnavigated the globe and it wasn't until we were virtually back on our own doorstep that we finally found the snow!

I am tired and busy doing mountains of laundry so I will post a few photos and see you again soon.

Rosies great esacape from the hotel room.

All that playing wore them out.

Finally we managed to force everything into our luggage. I don't htink cases are meant to llok quite that round.

Glad you made it home safely. I guess it was also nice that you got in a snowball fight. I'm from the great white north and would give anything for snow!

Rosie is just so beautiful and I can't wait to see her grow.

Your girls are so sweet together - I love the pic of them sleeping soundly...with Rosie's cute little toesies sticking out of the covers.

It's crazy to see how big Lily looks next to her baby sis!

So happy that you are home where you can start building your life together in the comfort of what is familiar.

Take it one day at a time in the beginning and before you know it all of the routines will be second nature for you and the children.

Can't wait to see you guys!!

Love

Welcome home!!!! It's so wonderful to see the sisters sleeping together. I agree that picture should be put in a frame.
Hope you can catch up on your sleep and jet lag, and that your adjustment period goes smoothly.
Don't forget to sniff those dryer sheets!
