Things are moving forward here. Last night Rose only slept for 3 hours and today she felt that a fifteen minute nap was adequate so as you can imagine by 6 pm she was a wreck. She survived dinner and was very happy to be in the tub with her sister and is now fast asleep with her daddy and Lily, altogether in our bed. This is the longest stretch she has slept for at one time since we got home.
Tomorrow she has a dr's appointment and then on the 17th she has a big appointment with the cardiologist where she will have two scans done. We will get the results immediately and be able to find out a treatment/surgery schedule. Send us your love on that day please. We truly believe that she is very healthy and that her paperwork was correct but until the 17th we won't know for sure. Rose doesn't appear very keen on medical professionals so the next couple of weeks are going to be nasty for her.
Since my family are all asleep I am going to try and get caught up on a few odd jobs. Lily went back to school today and then to gymnastics tonight so she was truly exhausted and so very happy to be back at school. The first thing the teacher said to her was, Lily, what happened you got so skinny? She is very thin now and all her ribs stick out. Not to worry since returning home she has started to eat again and should be her normal weight shortly.
I don't have any photos of the last 2 days as we are living in a fog and forgot to take any!

I will definitely be praying for Rosie (and the rest of you) regarding her dr's appointments!
Glad Lily is getting back to her schedule and is eating again!
Love ya!
Happy Birthday to Nannis!
We'll be thinking of sweet Rosie as she goes to her doctors appointments. I'll be interested to hear what the cardiologist has to say.
Thinking of Lily too as she returns to her regular routine of school.
Glad to read the update and that things are slowly returning to normal! I hope my ribs show when I come back from China (not gonna happen, but a pudgy girl can dream).
Welcome back to our beautiful sunshine state! Glad to hear things are calming down a little. Take lots of pics. I too forgot to take pics the first few days home and I could kick myself now. Best wishes for Rosie's Dr.'s visit.
Definitely will send our love your way on the 17th!!!!
Happy Birthday to Nannis!
And I hope that Lily starts to eat well again!
Happy Birthday Nannis!!
What is it about China that makes us all come home weighing less? Unfortuately, in my case it was only temporary ;-)
Best of luck at the appointments.
Huge hugs,
me
