A Family Of 4!

We have Rosie and she is adorable. She is having a very hard time with us and is the screamer in the group. (hey every group has one and we got her this time LOL) Lily is calling her the annoying little screamer.......hmmm, all seems to be right on track there! Talking of Lily, she thought today would be a great day to spike a fever and generally feel ucky. She is asleep.

Rose is tiny, so very tiny. We bought nine month clothes and they are falling off of her. I also have to say that in the middle of all the screaming we had a few minutes of calm and she looked at me and said, mama. We didn't get her until late this afternoon and she missed her nap so when we got home I removed the trillions of layers and changed her and she promptly fell asleep. I don't think she will be out for the night but we will see. The Aiyi's said that she likes to sing but they also said she doesn't use a pacifier or suck her thumb but she has her thumb planted firmly in her mouth and is clutching a very grungy shirt that she was wearing.

We need a little advice: Rosie has a very simple heart problem however when we got her undressed tonight we noticed that her sternum is very crooked, well it has more of a bump in it than being crooked. I will be ringing the ped' first thing in the morning but I just wondered if any of you have ever encountered this?

Off to stare at my beautiful girls.

omgoodness... I'm so excited to see the pictures of sweet Rosie. I've never heard of a crooked sternum before but I'm sure your doctors will be able to relieve your fears.

Will be sending prayers that Lily is feeling better soon! Love the twirlie thing with her daddy!

This is wonderful news! (even if she is the screamer of the group)...our Lily was too!

I'm saying a prayer for sweet Lily so she feels better real soon and can make her little sis smile!

I also hope you get some answers regarding Rosie's sternum...I'll keep her in my prayers as well.

Hugs to you all!

My partner, Rita says her son has that bump, and is present when he was skinny. Once he filled out it went away. Miss you! Off to look at the pictures and videos now. Congratulations!

Hey Cope family.

With a bit of luck you are all fast asleep after your exciting day. Thank you for sharing the photos. Rosie is simply adorable, even if she is the screamer. And what an adorable big sister Lily is. Congrats and sweet dreams. It's official! You are a family of 4 - whoohoo.

PS: I wouldn't worry too much about the sternum, it is probably just because she needs to gain some weight. Once you start fattening her up, it will be much less noticeable. Cadence and Hansen looked kinda weird when we first got them.

I am so thrilled for you and your beautiful family. Rosie is beautiful!!!

As far as the sternum goes, I would definitely go along with the concencus of opinion (non educated of course) that it is lack of meat on her bones that is showing you what you would bever see on a child with more weight. I cannot even begin to explain the weird bumps and bones we saw on Ethan when we got him but it is all gone now :)

I hope that Lily feels better soon.

I love you guys and we are so thrilled for you.

I went over to dropshots and Rosie is just beautiful. Even with her little tears. She will calm down soon I'm sure.
Lily looks beautiful on the red couch. It must be amazing to be there with her again.

How exciting. Congratulations. I just looked at the pictures and watched the videos. Rosie is so cute.

Poor Lily. I will pray that she is well very soon. Hard enough becoming a big sister to a screamer and then not feeling well. :-)

I don't know a thing about the bump. I will let you know if I can get a hold of my friend who is a doctor.

I am so happy for you all!

I'm wondering if the 'bump' you are seeing with Rosie's sternum is just a prominent xiphoid No big deal at all)??? Hard to know without more info. Hope all is well and keep us posted after the ped examines your girl.

Hugs to all.

CONGRATULATIONS to your beautiful family of 4!! Praying that Rosie settles in more peacefully as time goes on & that Lily is feeling better.

We got a screamer too 2.5 years ago... & she STILL screams when she is hurt/upset...sigh...but I wouldn't trade it for the world! ;)

HUGS!!
