This will come as a complete shock to those who know me: we are packed!
Yepper, completely packed. We have 4 days to go and we are ready. Normally, I am the one who an hour before we need to leave for the airport is swearing like a sailor and cramming everything I own into a case because I detest packing for trips and keep putting off doing it. Now that isn't to say that the bags are anywhere near to the ridiculous weight restictions imposed by the Chinese but they are ready to go. I am blaming all the extra poundage on the orphanage donations that we are taking. It couldn't possibley be my stuff or all of the provisons we are taking for basic food survival....no no. of course not.
If anyone reading this went to China, Carry On Only, tell me how cos I am seriously baffled by that notion.
All I want now is for someone to introduce some kind of travel between now and Wednesday where I can just blink my eyes really, really fast 4 times and end up in China and I will be happy. The thought of that long flight is just making me cringe. I have no problem with flying just that many hours in a pokey little seat. C'est la vie.
We are off to have one last fun filled weekend as a family of three. A last hoorah if you will.

I'm probably the only person who will tell you I didn't have a problem with the flight. No sir reeee. Seriously. I watched 5 movies and I as so dang giddy with anticipation I couldn't even sleep. I was on over drive. NOW the flight home was a whole lot different coming home with the twins who didn't sleep. One. minute...It was awful!

Good luck on the flight, I hate them too...I'm cool on the short ones, but anything over 8 hours ruins me! AND we have a three year old that does not sleep on flights...proven...she doesnt...so good luck, and we'll see you on the flip side!!!
