Becoming a mummy of 2 has really done a number on my brain. I can't sleep and my amazing skills as a multi tasker have been reduced to "can't do anything at all skills". I start a job and then via off in a completely different direction and half do something else. I am so happy and I can't concentrate.
This morning I remembered that Christmas is just around the corner. I didn't actually forget this but I have not done anything about preparing for it for 2 weeks. I would head out to do some shopping and get sucked in to a strange vortex that only allowed me to shop for baby things.
This is not going to work! As of today "Her Cuteness" is being placed on the "To Do" list and Christmas is being placed on the "Priority List". I have to focus on one thing and one thing only. This afternoon Lily and I went to the Hallmark shop and picked out some Asian themed ornaments thanks to RMJ and Steffie B who showed them off on their blogs. When we came home we put up the tree, well we started to at least. I am not working tomorrow so that I can get ahead of the game again and not dither about like I am suffering from the blonde flu.
Thank you all for your kind words about Rosie. We cannot wait to go and get her and we are keeping everything crossed that it will be in 8 weeks time.

focus is the key word...heck we haven't even gotten close to getting Chynna's particulars and we can't focus to get our shopping done...I'll blame it on your getting Rosie...yeah that's it...it's Rosie's fault I haven't even started shopping but I did get our tree that's a start right??

I took a peek at the ornaments. They are just so pretty! I may have to pop in to a Hallmark & pick them up as a gift for my friend Susan.
Now stop looking at Rosie's pic & start your Christmas preparations.
Just enjoy this moment.....it is so well deserved. You'll pull it together for Miss Lily....I have no doubt!
I can't wait for the day when I am in your shoes.....well actually my brain is like that everyday...it will probably just get worse! lol

Being a mommy of two is WONDERFUL! You will LOVE LOVE LOVE it, and Lily will too. I can not tell you how happy I am for you!
Hey! If you don't get everything done perfectly this Christmas at least you have a WONDERFUL excuse!

I'm right there with you! Christmas tree only just got decorated, and we havent hung any lights or decorated the rest of the house.
8 weeks...wow...we are looking at 16-20 until we can go and get Paisley, what a difference being through the review room makes!
We have that ornament too...cute huh!
We are also thinking of sending a cake from blessed kids to the orphanage for Christmas.

I so get where you are. Actually I'm still there! lol. Yes, I was like that when we were going through our adoption. Sadly it hasn't fixed it's bad self. I'm constantly forgetting things, and can't remember what it was I was supposed to be doing...... But, it's all good. Really!
