We received word yesterday from our agency that they have received our pre-approval from the CCAA to go ahead with the adoption of Rosie. WOOHOO, it was fast we were told anywhere from 2 weeks to a month.
So what comes next? We wait for our LOA and TA. For those of you who don't what what that means, our letter of acceptance and our travel approval.
Keep sending those happy thoughts, good vibes and prayers that we get all of those FAST too please.
They didn't like our passport photos so we have to have them redone. I didn't like mine either!
Lily has no passport at the minute as it has been sent off to be renewed. It is so scary to send all her original documents off in a brown envelope.

I totally hear ya on that scary part of sending off original documents.! I mean, what if someone (like the mail) lost them! I think you should be able to send certified copies. Especially of adoption documents since it's not like you can just order new ones if you lose one. Ya know!
I'm sending lots of prayers for a speedy LOA and TA. Ours went very fast as you know so be ready :-)
Good stuff! It is nerve wracking to not have the important papers on hand. For our passport, we went and stood in line for an hour at the passport office to speed up the process and not have to leave the docs. Worth it!

It is scary about sending off the original docs...but have faith...we sent all of Kiara's in last year & all were returned in mint condition!

I had to redo my passport photo for our dossier because I was wearing my nose ring in the first set. Ugh!
