Happy Halloweenie

Yesterday Lily went to her party at Pre-K dressed as a Ladybug and this evening she was a princess. I have to say that this is the most fun I have ever had on Halloween but then again I could easily say that this is the best Wednesday I have ever had because there is something so special about sharing any day with children. But Jacob and I agreed that last night was great fun. We dressed her Majesty Princess Lily up and went Trick or Treating with our friends and their daughter Witch Isabella. After doing that we came home and sat outside in the driveway giving candy to all the other ghosts and goblins that came by. It worked really well because they didnt come to the house and that way if they were very scary Lily didnt have to have them in her home!!! Yeah....if I do say so myself, it was damn good thinking on my part!
When I went to give Lily a bath Jacob finished off handing out the candy and even managed to distribute some of Lilys huge stash. When she came downstairs this morning she asked why her pumpkin was so light and I just said because we emptied most of it into the candy jar and she bought it! I love this age but I know she won't be gullible for much longer, unless of course, she takes after me!
